Why travelers choose Everway
Booked trips need a different tool
Wanderlog shines while you are still deciding: guides, pins, group edits, budgets for a trip you are dreaming up. Everway starts when the bookings are real. Forward the confirmations and get every detail in one day-by-day plan — maps, files, confirmation numbers — without maintaining a planning board. If your question is "where should we go?", use a planner. If it is "it's all booked — where is everything?", that is Everway.
Confirmations land in the right trip
Both accept forwarded emails. Wanderlog sorts forwards into trips, and its automatic import connects to Gmail to scan for reservations — a Pro feature that needs mailbox access. Everway gives every trip its own private address. Forward the hotel confirmation to tokyo+you@everway.ai and it can only land in that trip. You can even hand the address to a booking site so confirmations skip your inbox entirely.
Your inbox stays closed
Wanderlog's most convenient import — automatic Gmail scanning — asks you to connect your mailbox. Everway does not have that option, on purpose. Forwarding is the whole integration. The only emails Everway ever sees are the ones you choose to send, and deleting a forwarded email deletes everything extracted from it.
Tickets parsed, not just stored — and not paywalled
On Wanderlog, unlimited attachments come with Pro, and files sit with the plan for reference. Everway has no attachment caps on any plan, including free. PDF tickets, screenshots, and calendar invites are parsed into bookings, then kept on the itinerary item they belong to — in hand at the check-in desk without searching. Offline access is free on Everway too; Wanderlog reserves that for Pro.
Planning extras vs the trip you already paid for
Wanderlog's guides, group editing, expense splitting, and route optimization are useful when a trip is still being invented. Everway does not try to be that workspace — no research bloat, no board to maintain. Once flights and hotels are confirmed, most travelers need the plan to build itself. Companions sign in with a one-time code; costs are captured from bookings without a separate budgeting workflow.
Full product free. Pay only when you need more trips.
Wanderlog Pro is $39.99 per year, annual-only — and it holds back offline access, automatic import, route optimization, and unlimited attachments. Everway's free plan is the full product for one active trip: attachment parsing, offline access, maps, and guest sharing included. Pro is $29/year (or $5/month) for unlimited trips. Cancel whenever.
Choose Everway if
Your trip is booked and you want the plan to build itself from the emails
You will not grant any app access to your mailbox
You keep every ticket and voucher with the trip — parsed, not just stored
You share with a partner or family who just need to see the itinerary
You want offline access and attachments on the free plan — and flexible Pro billing if you go paid
Wanderlog may still fit if
You are still deciding where to go and want destination guides
Your group all needs to edit the same trip in real time
You need expense splitting and route optimization as core workflows
Once the trip is booked, forward the confirmations to Everway and travel with the plan that built itself — even if you researched elsewhere.
The plan starts when you book.
No board to maintain and no places to pin. Create a trip, forward the confirmations you already have, and the itinerary assembles itself — times, maps, confirmation numbers, tickets. Your first trip is free, with everything included.
